How do I sign up for a free class? Do I need experience?

Schedule your free class with us by clicking on the link and then all you have to do is show up! No experience required.

How do I learn all the movements?

We teach you everything you need to know during class! There is always a coach present to thoroughly explain each movement and demonstrate proper technique during all classes. If you are brand new to CrossFit you can also complete a 90 minute introductory class.

Do I get the chance to meet new friends? Do you meet up outside the gym?

Yes! We like to organize our fitness classes into small groups, as this allows you to meet others and get personalized attention. We regularly schedule social events outside of the gym. Community is what drives us. We do some type of social event every month whether it be a hike, trivia night, or volunteering in the local community. You will soon get to know your workout peers and they will become your “fit fam”.

What sets you apart from other gyms?

We are a community of people that share the same fitness journey as you. We are here to build each other up - if you win, we all win.

How often do you recommend coming to workout classes?

If you are a beginner, we recommend starting with 2 to 4 classes a week, with the goal of working up to 5 a week after your first few months. It may take a while for your body to get used to training at that intensity, so listen to your body and know you will need recovery time between training days.

Is CrossFit for anyone? Any age?

Yes, absolutely! This is something that we strongly believe. CrossFit is for anyone and everyone, no matter what your physical ability is. Our understanding is that the needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree, not kind. One needs functional competence to stay out of the nursing home. The other one wants functional dominance to win medals.

CrossFit seems to cost more than the average gym membership, why?

The monthly unlimited price gives you small group classes where you get personalized training. You will have a CrossFit trainer leading you through the entire class including warmup, stretching, skill work, and the workout of the day. Unlike a traditional gym where you may be without a plan or support/encouragement, CrossFit gives you everything you need, all you need to do is show up! We are here to program the workouts every single day for you, scale the workouts for you, be a wealth of knowledge for you, support and care for you, and much more.

Can I do CrossFit if I’ve never exercised before? If I’m “out of shape”?

Yes you can! Anyone can. That is why we love the CrossFit methodology so much. Our classes are filled with people of all ages, from all walks of life, and at varying skill levels. All of the workouts are scalable, meaning they can be modified to meet you at your athletic ability. CrossFit is the program that will get you in shape. No matter what your current fitness level is, you can start CrossFit. Yes, even if you haven't exercised in 20 years!

Do I have to be fit to join?

No! No matter what your current fitness level is, we have the fitness program that is right for you. Every workout is designed to help you succeed, improve fitness, and move you toward your goals. Our program is designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience.

Can I bring my children with me?

Yes! We are a family friendly community. We have a kids room in the gym with a TV and toys. They can hangout while you work out.

What kind of exercises can I expect during a workout?

Our class programming will include a strength portion in which you’ll work on something like Olympic weightlifting, deadlifting, squatting, or bodyweight strength or you may work on a gymnastics skill. After the strength or skill portion of the class is complete, most days will involve a workout that was programmed for that specific day. Workouts can be anywhere between 5 to 20 minutes or more. Classes are one hour long.

Do I have to stop eating my favorite foods to be healthy?

No! A healthy lifestyle has to be manageable and realistic for the long term. Do enjoy special indulgences and meals! The healthier you are, the healthier you tend to want to eat. You get hooked on feeling good, and junk food just isn’t worth it. By avoiding excessive amounts of refined carbohydrates and measuring your intake of protein, carbohydrates, and fat, you will see dramatic, measurable increases in health.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes, 10% off to active military, veterans, police, fire, EMT, and registered nurses. Thank you for all you do. Also 10% off a second immediate family member.
